When will I receive my enrollment email?
Enrollment emails are typically sent on Mondays and Thursdays, and you will receive your enrollment email within 1-2 weeks of your start date.
You can’t access the benefits portal until you’ve received your enrollment email.
How long do I have to enroll or waive coverage?
You have 30 days after your start date to enroll in or waive benefits. You can make changes to your elected benefits anytime during the 30 days.
On day 31 your benefits are confirmed, and no changes are allowed until open enrollment or with a qualifying event.
If you don’t enroll or waive medical coverage, you will be defaulted to the Premier medical plan at the self-only coverage level. You won’t be able to change this coverage until the next open enrollment or with a qualifying event. To avoid this, be sure to enroll or waive your benefits within the 30-day enrollment window.
When are my benefits effective?
Your benefits re effective the first of the month following your start date unless your date of hire is the first of the month. If your date of hire is the first of the month then your benefit will be effective the same day, first of the month.
Our benefits plan year runs from 10/1 – 9/30 each year, and open enrollment occurs in August.
When can I enroll in the Moss Adams 401(k)?
Two weeks after your start date, you can access Vanguard via Single Sign On or vanguard.com/retirementplans, Click register for account access on the logon page to sign up.

How can I opt out to contribute to the Moss Adams 401(k)?
Log in to your Vanguard account and click on the link to Change Enrollment.
If you are within initial 30 days enrollment window, do not enter a deferral percentage to opt out, instead, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Delete Enrollment button.
When outside initial 30 days enrollment window, enter 0 to the deferral percentage section to stop your contributions.
When can I roll-over my existing 401(k) to the Moss Adams plan?
Before rolling over your funds, you must contact your previous plan and obtain the rollover paperwork for completion by their plan administrator.
Once you have the signed paperwork, contact Vanguard for next steps.
When will I receive my medical and dental ID cards?
Cards are mailed to your home address in MA Connect about 7 to 10 business days after enrollment.
I signed up for an FSA or HSA, when will I receive those cards?
Cards are mailed to your home address in MA Connect 7 to 10 business days after enrollment.
If you enrolled in both HSA and FSA, you will not receive separate cards, it is a single card, both funds will be available there to use.
There isn’t a card for the Dependent Care FSA.
How can I use the DCFSA funds?
You need to submit the claim to TRI-AD for your DCFSA expenses with supporting documentation.
Once the claim is reviewed and approved you will be reimbursed directly.
Claims may also be submitted through the mobile app once you have registered.
Will I receive a vision ID card?
No, at your appointment, provide their office with your social security number and let them know you are enrolled in the VSP Choice Network. You can find a preferred provider at https://www.vsp.com/.
