Moss Adams offers both short-term disability (STD) and long-term disability (LTD) benefits, visit Marvin Short-term & Long-term Disability page to learn in detail. Here are the highlights of the offerings.
Short-term Disability
Employees who are eligible for benefits receive STD coverage after six months of employment. If you reside in California or Washington, you may also be eligible to receive state disability income.
- STD coverage is offered to you (paid in full by Moss Adams) if you become disabled and require time away from work.
- If eligible, after a one‐week waiting period, you’ll be paid up to 100% of your pre-disability earnings for a maximum of six weeks and 66.6% of your pre-disability base income for an additional six weeks, not to exceed 90 days or the length of your medical disability, whichever is less.
- For more information, please review the Short-Term Disability Summary.
Long-term Disability
If you choose to enroll in LTD, you'll pay 100% of the coverage which provides you with up to 60% of your pre-disability earnings (up to $15,000 per month) if you’re disabled for longer than 90 days. There’s a one-year pre‐existing condition exclusion period on the coverage, and claims must be approved by the carrier to receive benefits.
If you choose to enroll during this Open Enrollment, you won't have to go through medical underwriting. If you choose to enroll at a later date, you'll need to complete the EOI process.
